Your boat probably came equipped with a Bimini top, but they don’t last forever. The sun can break down even the best marine materials.

What most boat owners aren’t aware of is that not all bimini tops are the same.

The differences in length vary from 4ft, to over 15’ front to back, and the space between the bows varies quite a bit between the manufacturers. The manufacturer of your boat likely stopped producing canvas parts 4-5 years after production.

There are aftermarket replacements that you can find online, and while “some” fit exactly as the should, most have extreme amounts of slack between the bows or they just aren’t quite long enough. It can be frustrating when searching for a Bimini top for your boat.
